Before lockdown struck, I was working at Framlingham College updating their photo library. I loved doing these evening portraits of the stars of the hockey team.

Jojo runs an interior design company in Woodbridge with the help of Kate! I spent a really fun morning there last summer taking shots of them both in their office and down by the local boatyard, to update their website and marketing shots.

Trying to recreate an autumnal feel on a hot, late summers day is always a challenge! Luckily for me I wasn’t the one having to wear furry gilets, hats and gloves. Our usual team with a couple of new faces worked all day at the glorious Glemham Hall to get through all of the new lines coming to the shops this Autumn, and we did it with about ten minutes to spare. I hope the final images give a sense of fallen leaves and darker evenings!

Speedway merch shoot at Foxhall Road Stadium.
We had a fun day out at an empty Foxhall stadium, home of the Ipswich Witches speedway team! It was such an amazing place to shoot and the sun baked down which put everyone in a great mood. We had asked two actual speedway riders to model for us, (Katie and Drew) and they did an amazing job despite this being their first time modelling clothes.
Neonstreet produce merch for speedway events all over Europe and it was great to see the current seasons t-shirts, caps and hoodies.

Had a great day at Southwold Flower Farm and Orford beach shooting for Tilley and Grace boutique. Emma and Georgia joined us from Deborah Reynolds model agency and worked really hard all day as usual. There will be more shoots with T+G this year so much to look forward to!

Art for cure
Art for Cure is a fantastic organisation based in Suffolk which promotes local art and puts on exhibitions throughout the year, most notably at Glemham Hall near Woodbridge. The proceeds of art sales go to Breast Cancer Now and they’ve raised over £650000 so far. I’ve worked alongside them on many occasions in the past but this shoot was all about the committee!

A pleasure to visit the Suffolk home of children’s author Anna Fargher this summer to take some press shots for the promotion of her book The Umbrella Mouse. We started in a beautiful garden on a sunny June day and then drove to a secret little beach nearby.

I can’t believe I didn’t post this last year when it was current! Sometimes I get quite behind with my admin and then things just get forgotten about. It’s a shame because this was a lovely shoot at home with Rob and Richard to go alongside an article in Bedfords magazine. Their cottage is lovely with a never ending supply of beautiful objects to photograph.

I returned to The Queen at Brandeston a few weeks ago to shoot interiors and food. It’s such a lovely pub with friendly staff and a fantastic chef. I love photographing in kitchens and I always seem to default to black and white, It just seems to lend itself to the metal utensils, heat and mood of the place. Do pay it a visit if you are ever in the area.

Kate had just set up a home studio for her yoga class when I visited her in the summer - a beautiful, light and airy space totally conducive to relaxation!
I don’t do yoga and although I’ve photographed instructors 3 or 4 times now I’m still in awe as I watch them go through the positions. They make such good photographic poses! One day I will try it myself.
